Values

  • graduating from high school and going to a good college.
  • going to a MUN Conference in my freshman year.
  • winning basketball games on a school team.
  • receiving a high score on a PSAT in 8th grade.
  • getting a GPA higher than what i expected in freshman year.
  • learning how to play gold and competing with kids who are older than me when I was in second grade.
  • living in Vancouver for four years in my life, where I was always close to nature.
There must be something important in people's lives. Living up to a certain age may be a significant value for old people. Winning a gold medal in the Olympics may also be another significant value in their lives. I went to my first MUN conference when I was in 9th grade and that was an important event to me. It's probably the first time that I talked in font of 80 other kids wearing suits. That conference gave me an experience and since then, I was more confident and comfortable giving a speech without thinking what I should say in the middle of a speech. Winning my first basketball game was also a significant moment in my life. It was the first time I ever played on school team, wearing a jersey, and playing formal game. Even though we didn't the win the game, but it was definitely an important experience and that's the value that I have that is priceless.
