This picture is just a fatal image that shows passengers drowning the Titanic were a terrible disaster. We could see that the propeller is up in the air while the head of the ship is already under water. We would see there are a few people on the boats while thousands of people are stuck in the ship. This picture definitely contributes to my understanding of the event by giving a more detailed image in my brain of how the event might have happened. The background of this picture shows a really nice quiet evening. This kind of contradicts with the event that was happening: a big disaster under a peace quiet night. I think I have seen that picture before I read this story and whenever I see that picture, it just automatically makes me think of Titanic. When I see the picture, I just find how stupid those people were when they knew they were going to hit the iceberg but didn’t do anything about it. I just don’t see why they do not think that the passengers on the ship were important. They just looked at this as a game instead of treating it seriously and taking actions through careful observations.
