It is really all about the challenge when we talk about risks. Most of the time, mountain climbers have to face some physical risks, such as climbing up a steep hill, or crossing a deep hole between two gigantic rocks. The risks that Krakauer had mentioned basically applied to other risk takers. I have taken risks before when I was climbing those rocks on the wall. I am so scared of that kind of climbing. Those are just made out of artificial rocks that are screwed onto the wall. Some of them are even loose and it is done on purpose so that it feels “challenging” I really hate those mountain climbing trainings because it can be really dangerous if your partner loses the string or if the lock on your body falls out. Climbing up that creepy wall with all your energy was not enough. You also have to face the risk of climbing that mountain. Some climbers climb because they want to overcome their fears while some other climbers wanted to be the special person that could success. Others just like to be in the kind of situation where you are standing between the line of life and death.
