Different perspectives can change the meaning of the story significantly. When the point of view of the story is different, the authors may be emphasizing on different things. Where the writer lives or the events that had happened to him or her may greatly influence her writing. Some writers may write about his or her own experience into the writing. When we talk about biographies and historical text, it is written form an objective point of view while memoir can be written from the writer’s perspective. When there are different perspectives on two stories with the same topic, it can really show the writers’ point of view and how they feel toward this event. Perspectives can usually show a person’s viewpoint of the event. Writers may be trying to persuade different points when they have different perspectives due to the writer’s living environment and relationship to people. For instance, a writer from the United States may have different perspective from an English writer from the United Kingdom. The languages they used in their text may also vary since writers are from different parts of the world. When talking about nationality, most writers would stand on his or her own nation’s viewpoint and this may also change the meaning of the story due to different perspectives.
